About Maliyah

Hi Queen! I'm Maliyah, your custom lash artist.

I originally pursued a degree in psychology because I wanted to understand people.

  I think I was also trying to understand myself.

I know what it's like to long for a place where you feel seen.

Where you feel understood.

Where you feel accepted exactly as you are.

As I moved through college and eventually graduated, I realized what drew me to psychology wasn't just the study of people.

It was the desire to create that feeling for others.

I've always been passionate about giving people what I didn't have.

What took me years to find for myself.

A place where they could exhale.

A place where they didn't have to perform.

A place where they could simply be.

I started doing lashes during my first year of college, and over time I realized something life-changing:

I didn't need to work in a counseling office to create that kind of impact.

I could create it here.

What began as a beauty service slowly became something much more meaningful.

Every person who sat in my chair reminded me of something I've always believed:

No one is meant to fit into a mold.

We're all different.

We're all shaped by different experiences.

We all carry different stories.

And yet so much of the world tells us there's a right way to look, a right way to be, and a standard we're supposed to measure ourselves against.

I've never believed that.

I believe beauty is deeply personal.

I believe our differences are worth celebrating.

Beauty already exists within you.

My role is not to create it.

My role is to recognize it, celebrate it, and reflect it back to you.

Because the most meaningful beauty experiences begin with acceptance, not correction.

That's why this space exists.

Not just to create beautiful lashes.

But to create the kind of space I had been searching for all along.

A space where you feel cared for, understood, and celebrated exactly as you are.

My hope is that when you leave my studio, you don't just love your lashes.

You leave feeling a little lighter.

A little more confident.

And a little more like yourself.
